As a part of the group show “+ ONE AT THE BORDER” curated and hosted by the Berlin-based artist collective I WOULD DIE FOR ANYTHING, I had my first chance to show some of my practices and by combined the different mediums and outlets I’ve worked with and learned myself over the last handful years, I put together my part of the show called “LOST IN A DREAM”.
From my time on the road with my friends from HALSHUG, following them from the making of their last record, to the last tour - the last show at 358 Jonhson in New York City “LOST IN A DREAM” was my try, to bring the audience into my world and what I saw in this period of time.
An immersive collage wall of all photos I’ve ever taken of the band and things collected on the road, acompanied by an 35 minute long video from the US tour, iniviting the viewer into the world of a small punk band from Copenhagen, Denmark, trying to make it in the motherland of punk. Lastly a selection of handprinted silver gelatin photos and a screen printed t-shirt.
